If you visit the State Parliament buildings in Magdeburg, of course you want to see the plenum and experience how parliamentary processes work and how laws are made. During a tour through the building complex, many people are surprised to discover pieces of art in the State Parliament buildings.
During the renovation works of the former engineering school of water management in the beginning of the nineties into the modern and functioning State Parliament building that we have today, it was important not to disturb the historic traces in the building completely. For example, the fastest way for the visitor to reach the State Parliament’s President is over the fully restored historical wooden stairs in the southern wings of the building.
